Smut Slam with Cameryn Moore: Pride&Joy
Ljubljana Pride Festival 2026 is bringing the internationally acclaimed Smut Slam format to Ljubljana for the very first time – an evening of real, personal, sexy, and uncensored stories about sexuality, pleasure, and intimacy. On Friday, June 12, 2026, at 7 PM, the stage at Pritličje will be open to everyone who wants to listen to – or share – stories inspired by the theme: Pride & Pleasure.
Smut Slam is an international storytelling open mic created in 2011 by acclaimed performer, playwright, and producer Cameryn Moore. The event is built around real-life, first-person stories about sex, desire, awkward moments, pleasure, identity exploration, and all the unexpected situations that shape our intimate lives. Audience members can participate either as storytellers or listeners, while the bravest participants can compete for sexy prizes awarded by the jury at the end of the evening.
The event is not only about performances, but also about creating a safe and open space for exploring intimate storytelling. The day before the event, a special Smut Slam workshop will take place, where Cameryn Moore will introduce storytelling techniques, explain the dynamics of the format, and help participants prepare their stories for the main event. The workshop is a great opportunity for anyone considering performing, as well as for those interested in performance art, storytelling, or exploring their own voice through humour, vulnerability, and pleasure. Smut Slam is a space of openness, humour, vulnerability, and community. It is queer-friendly, trans-friendly, kink-friendly, poly-friendly, sex worker-friendly, body-positive, and above all – friendly. All stories and experiences are welcome as long as they are grounded in respect and consent. Discriminatory, violent, or non-consensual content has no place at the event.

Accessibility
Location and entrance
- The entrance is located from a small tunnel accessible from Mestni tr, building number 2.
- Open the exact location of the entrance – link.
- Upon entering Pritličje, go into the further room with the bar, and then turn left. There are a few steps leading into the event space.
Architectural accessibility
- The venue is accessible from the sidewalk level, with no curbs or stairs. The room in which the event will be happening is only accessible through 4 steps, the same as the bathrooms.
- There is no accessible bathroom.
Language and communication
- Language of the event: Slovene and English.
- Organisers will be able to communicate in Slovene and English.
- There will be no sign language interpreters present.
Signing up
- The event does not require a signup.
- During the event you might be asked to sign a participation list.
Sensory conditions
- The event is only for people over 18 years of age.
- The doors to the event space will be closed after the event starts. It is possible to enter and leave during the event.
- The event will feature performances by interested participants, as well as a chance to submit your own short story, question, or anecdote, to be read anonymously by the host.
Quiet space
- There is no designated quiet space during the event.
