LGBTIQ+ tour of Ljubljana
Take a walk through Ljubljana with young LGBTIQ+ guides and discover the history, current activism and activities of the LGBTIQ+ community.
This two-hour tour will lead you to several important locations in the city centre: join us and uncover rainbow Ljubljana!
Participation is free of charge, but due to limited group size registration is required.
Registrations are open until 12:00 on 11th of June, after which you will receive an email with detailed information.
What can you expect?
The tours are led by young LGBTIQ+ volunteers, not professional tour guides. While we touch on some key moments from the rich history of the LGBTIQ+ movement in Ljubljana, the focus is on current community life, activism, and the personal insights and experiences of the young guides.
Throughout the tour, your questions are warmly encouraged – both about the topics covered and about the everyday lives of LGBTIQ+ young people in Ljubljana.
Can’t make this tour but still interested? As part of the Pride Parade Festival, there are two tours taking place — one in English and one in Slovenian — so you can join the other session. Otherwise, follow our social media channels for upcoming tours.
