The main event of the annual Pride Parade is the Pride march, full of energy and colour, which is also a protest of the LGBTIQ+ community and our supporters. It is a celebration of rainbow existence and demands for visibility, equality and respect. Join us under the slogan “Looking Back, Marching Forward”.
The march will start at 17:00 at AKC Metelkova mesto in front of the Lovci building, where the protesters will gather and equip themselves with rainbow flags and banners. At 18:00 we will march through the streets of Ljubljana, accompanied by a parade truck. The route will take us along Masarykova ulica, passing by the Ljubljana railway station. Once at Bavarski dvor, the protest will continue towards the city centre and the participants will reassemble at Kongresni trg, where a political and cultural programme will be held from 19:00 onwards. The first hour of the programme will be dedicated to addresses by guest speakers, followed by a cultural programme with performances by the musical queer duo Freekind, the performance group Image Snatchers, DJ Skandal and a surprise guest appearance. The Pride Parade 2024 festival will end with an afterparty at AKC Metelkova mesto, with a special night programme prepared by members of the DJ group Ustanova at Club Gromka.
