We invite you to join us for a screening of eight short films curated by Queer Cinema for Palestine, which will be followed by a discussion with artist, video artist, performer and painter Ana \u010cigon on art\u2019s position in resistance and the liberation struggle. <\/span><\/p>\n Queer Cinema for Palestine (QCP) is a collectively curated global film festival celebrating queer realities and standing in solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian people for freedom, justice and dignity.<\/span><\/p>\n The third edition of QCP, under the slogan \u201cNo Pride in Genocide\u201d<\/b>brings together grassroots, solidarity and arts organisations from across the globe to host screenings of a stellar, collectively curated short film programme.<\/span><\/p>\n This year\u2019s programme focuses on the work of queer Palestinian and allied artists across locales, in historic Palestine and the diaspora, on various identities, lengths, styles and genres (doc-hybrid, experimental, fiction and animation) to highlight art\u2019s position in resistance and the liberation struggle.<\/span><\/p>\n The full programme is available at:<\/b> https:\/\/queercinemaforpalestine.org\/2025\/04\/18\/film-program-queer-cinema-for-palestine-2025\/<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Queer Cinema for Palestine began as an alternative ethical space for filmmakers who pulled out or refused to show their work at the Israeli government-sponsored TLVFest LGBTQ Film Festival. Over the past six years, hundreds of filmmakers have shown their solidarity in response to the boycott call from queer and trans Palestinians. <\/span><\/p>\n Israel continues to attempt to instrumentalise LGBTIQ+ identities to justify its genocide against Palestinians, including by murdering, blackmailing and imprisoning queer and trans Palestinians.
